Everyday desktop tools. One tidy place.
TrakDesk is an upcoming Windows tray app for clipboard history, screenshot collections and everyday utilities — the small things you reach for dozens of times a day, kept in one tidy place.
What we're building first
This is the scope of the first prototype while TrakDesk is in development. Details may change before release.
Clipboard history
- Searchable text and image clipboard history
- Pin the clips you reuse
- Copy back or quick-paste into the app you're using
- Pause recording and delete history whenever you like
- History stored locally and encrypted on your PC
Screenshot collections
- Full-screen and region screenshots
- Import existing images
- Named screenshot folders with thumbnail grids
- Multi-select, then copy and paste a set of image files into compatible apps
- Combine a set into one image as a fallback
Everyday utilities
- Keep-awake timer to stop your PC sleeping during long tasks
A few screenshots. One paste.
Collect screenshots into named folders, select the ones you need and copy them as a set — then paste them together into a chat, email or document.
Pasting several files at once depends on the destination app. Where it isn't supported, TrakDesk can combine the set into a single image instead.
Your clipboard stays yours
Local by design
Designed to keep clipboard history on your PC, with controls to pause recording and delete stored items.
Temporary files for sets
Copying a multi-image set creates temporary local image files for pasting. Once you share those files into another app, that app's own privacy rules apply.
No account planned
TrakDesk installs on Windows and is separate from our browser tools. No app account is planned for the first release.

Questions
When will TrakDesk be available?
It's in development and we haven't set a release date. We'll publish a download here once a tested release is ready.
Will it be free?
Our current plan is for TrakDesk to be free. We'll confirm pricing before release.
Which versions of Windows will it support?
Supported Windows versions will be listed here with the first release, once testing is complete. We won't list versions we haven't tested.
Do I need an account?
No. No app account is planned for the first release.
Why doesn't pasting a set of screenshots work everywhere?
Pasting several image files at once depends on the destination app. Many chat, email and document apps accept them; some only accept a single image. For those, TrakDesk can combine the set into one image instead.
Is TrakDesk the same as your browser tools?
No. TrakDesk installs on Windows and runs from your system tray. Browser tools we release will run separately in your web browser.
Like our tools? We build software for businesses too.
The same care goes into the rotas, dashboards and private web apps we build for UK businesses — fixed prices, one point of contact, and you own what you pay for.
